Partie 5 is a consulting firm dedicated to building science. 

Building science is the study of the interrelationships between different materials, components, construction assemblies, as well as the connections between occupants and the environments in which buildings are located. 

The building envelope, meanwhile, is defined as the set of elements and systems ensuring the separation between the interior and exterior environments, or between two different interior spaces, which is necessary to protect and shelter people and property. 

Understanding the physical phenomena and the consequences of air, heat, and moisture exchanges between these different environments allows, on the one hand, to make accurate diagnoses regarding observed issues and disorders, and on the other hand, to provide appropriate and effective corrective recommendations. 

Partie 5 is part of STGM Architecture, a multidisciplinary firm recognized for its expertise in buildings and the built environment.
