Léïc Godbout is an architect and project manager in building science.

He first worked on avant-garde projects in Lausanne and Montreal, as well as on the harmonious integration of modifications during the upgrading of several convents in Quebec. He then developed, while working at Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) in Gatineau, an in-depth understanding of federal issues and policies regarding heritage conservation across the country. Returning to Quebec, he spent over ten years, again with the same ministry, helping federal heritage buildings continue their path. Often on site, assessing building conditions and overseeing construction sites, he has gained solid experience in complex situations.

Notably, during the rehabilitation of buildings in isolated areas such as Grosse-Île, providing technical and strategic advice on masonry restoration of significant buildings in downtown Montreal, and undertaking major works on prestigious buildings at the Citadel of Quebec.

Since early 2018, Léïc has applied the same passion and rigor to building issues from all eras, working on numerous techno-legal and building envelope expertise files. At the end of 2020, he joined Partie 5, where he continues this work as an expert architect.
