Charles is a mechanical engineer. He is a senior project manager at the Québec City office of Partie 5. Working with Nicolas for ten years now, Charles possesses a sharp analytical mind and communication skills that make him their trusted person for complex expertise projects and in the most delicate contexts.

Charles has developed, among other things, a solid methodology for electronic monitoring of in-service conditions, combined with computer simulations using the WUFI PRO software, to evaluate the mechanisms of heat and moisture transfer through the envelope and assess its durability.

Since the implementation of Law 122, Charles has assessed the safety of the facades of about forty major buildings in the Québec City area, in addition to participating in the development of refurbishment/maintenance programs tailored to each facade of these buildings.

As a speaker, Charles has presented at AEMCQ and CEBQ, in addition to providing numerous training sessions on the principles of operation and refurbishment of massive masonry walls for the Ordre des Architectes du Québec (OAQ), as well as training on investigation methods for diagnosing window problems and developing corrective solutions at the 2018 Windoor trade show.
